PENGARUH OPTIMISME DAN KEPUASAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS (SMA) SWASTA DI KECAMATAN PRAYA LOMBOK TENGAH

The purpose of this study was to comprehensively determine the effect of optimism and job satisfaction on the performance of private high school teachers in Praya District, Central Lombok Regency. The research methodology is a survey method with path analysis applied in hypothesis testing. The study was conducted on 98 teachers as a simple random sample. Analysis and interpretation of the data shows that (1) optimism has a direct positive effect on job performance, (2) job satisfaction has a direct positive effect on job performance, and (3) optimism has a direct positive effect on job satisfaction.
ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara komprehensif pengaruh optimisme dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMA swasta di Kecamatan Praya Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Metodologi penelitian adalah metode survei dengan analisis jalur yang diterapkan dalam pengujian hipotesis. Penelitian dilakukan pada 98 guru sebagai sampel acak sederhana. Analisis dan interpretasi data menunjukkan bahwa (1) optimisme berpengaruh positif langsung terhadap prestasi kerja, (2) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif langsung terhadap prestasi kerja, dan (3) optimisme berpengaruh positif langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja.
